Way Expands R&D, Operations Team

By: James Carey

Way announced two organizational changes to keep pace with major growth the company is experiencing.

Chris Greer, who has been vice president of operations for the past year, will be appointed to a newly created role of vice president of research and development and product development.

Greer has been a vital part of Way’s growth during his tenure with the company, the company said in a release. His expertise in the RV industry and knowledge of engineering and development will speed up efforts to release products at an even faster timeframe to the marketplace.

In his new role, Greer will oversee the product development and service teams that support Way products.

Additionally, Way hired Mike Custer to replace Greer as vice president of operations. Custer will oversee all aspects of way’s day-to-day operations from order entry, warehousing and logistics thru delivery and billing.

Custer comes to Way with an impressive background and pedigree in supply chain and distribution operations, the company said, and will help the company continue to deliver for our suppliers and OEM and aftermarket customers.

“I am very happy to see the team we are developing and the growth we are having collectively,” Way CEO Wayne Kaylor stated. “All of this is a testament to the hard work and team effort mentality across the organization.”
